Engineers Without Borders Canada (EWB) works in Canada and in Africa to try to create opportunities for rural Africans. In Canada, we try to promote conscious consumer choices and advocate political change that will make it across the ocean and positively affect our African neighbours. In Africa, we work on the ground in Malawi, Ghana, Zambia and Burkina Faso. Our focus is to work with the local people, hear their voices, and tackle issues like gaining access to clean water, making small farms more profitable, and improving access to infrastructure and services.
